I bought one of these this summer kind of as a throw away noise mic for BRoll. I just wanted something better that the built in camera mic on my R5C. I’ve been so happy with it that I bought two more. I mainly use it on my R5C while it’s on my gimbal. It’s perfect!!

Quite honestly, I never knew anything about deity before the purchase of these microphones, but I’ve noticed that my audio Quality is much better now that I am using these mics! I love that I can separate my audio channels into two Two different
channels.

I’ve been running this mic on my FX3 for a couple of years now, both indoors and out, and the sound I get from it is amazing. This thing is super light, super compact and doesn’t pull much battery power at all. I find that the audio from this mic is better than the Rode camera mics. So good I purchased a second for my B camera, the RV. This mic is great for backup tracks, if you’re able to use a lav, or it’s great for your main track.

Recorded my first two YouTube videos with it as well as stream with it and it’s the best mic I’ve used for the price.

I have not set up my new mic yet. I was working with a friend who had one and I loved the results. We used it for close to the camera videos and the mic was simple easy and effective. I am pleased to have it for my own recordings once I get things set up. Great price!
