High Quality Shotgun Mic with Water Resistance

The microphone is great and everything it says it is. I opted for the location kit, and it was still probably a good call because I think the hand-mounted deal was cheaper than if I bought it alone. But the wind sock is way too flimsy and the elastic doesn’t say tight so it slides off if I tilt the mic down. I have to wrap it with a rubber band, or honestly I’m just gonna have to find a better one somewhere.

The wind sock is designed to slide over the foam. It should fit rather snug.

Amazing kit and mic

I bought this kit for a interview/documentary shoot I was doing. Price wise it made the most sense to buy the kit since I wanted the shockmount as well. The mic is phenomenal. I've gotten many comments about how amazing and clear the sound is with the S-Mic 2. The shock mount didn't disappoint either. The fact it all comes in a nice solid case was just gravy to me.
