Recently, I purchased the battery distribution solution from deity. Very happy with the purchase looking forward to getting many shoots with the gear.
Great addition to my equipment
Had my slate for several months and it worked great, but it developed a battery contact issue. Deity replaced the unit in no time, no cost to me. Back to rocking it and very happy with it.
Recorder works great! I’m not a big fan of how stubborn the cover to the battery compartment is though. Would love to see an updated version down the road where the cover works similar to the original Tascam Dr-10l battery cover. It’s on a hinge and east to access. Great recorder overall!
I’m very pleased with the service I received in order to repair my defective Theos DBTX.
All OK, except Sidus Audio update broke the slate - real display stopped working
sounds good, discord friends definitely noticed the difference lol
Working with professional I realized that time code is so easy to get editing right.
My first digital slate. A massive upgrade for me. The Sidus app pairs it with the theos mics and TC boxes wonderfully. Great system, great Slate.
Customer support was prompt and very helpful. Removing 1 star because the auto-reply function on Deity's end was confusing and misguided. More than once a bot responded to me in a way that made no sense at all and only after I asked about it did customer support clarify.
It gets the job done… packaging is very nice (magnetic closure) layout of contents is clear and to the point.
Unit has plenty of charge and was able to boot right away. Interface is quick and snappy. They need a quick start card for the basics… power off, lock and unlock… etc
The only thing this needs is a Sony hotshot direct connect. That would make every Sony camera have timecode power.
Love my TC-1 kit and cables, but you probably could pare down a lot on retail style packaging, save $ and the environment.
Nice Recorder And Satisfied. Just would like two way recording when using the device as a audio interface on a computer or phone. For example, recording phone calls and audio from computer.
I bought one of these this summer kind of as a throw away noise mic for BRoll. I just wanted something better that the built in camera mic on my R5C. I’ve been so happy with it that I bought two more. I mainly use it on my R5C while it’s on my gimbal. It’s perfect!!
It’s in the title.
I have four Deity w.lavs that utilize a microdot connection. I love the convenience of being able to swap out different connectors, but I have had to replace two of these DA35s with minimal use – a handful of corporate shoots and a few short films. Durability is definitely an issue. Additionally, the connection between the connector and the mic line is prone to producing static. Make sure your connection is tight beforeoubting on talent.
