The Deity TC-SL1 is the world's first Bluetooth® enabled smart slate. Wirelessly sync the TC-SL1 from up to 250 feet away using its free phone app, Sidus Audio. You can also sync the TC-SL1 using your TC-1 timecode boxes. Featuring both 5-Pin and 1/4” TRS, the TC-SL1 will work with your existing timecode cables. And with the flick of a switch, the TC-SL1 can accommodate tail slating. The two NP-F550s can be hot-swapped between each other, and the USB-C port can support up to 30W charging. The wooden clapper is made from sustainably farmed Walnut lumber from the state of Tennessee.

Using our exclusive Bit Connectify™️ technology you can control up to 48x TC-SL1 and/or TC-1 wireless timecode generator boxes from 250ft away.

The TC-1 also features a secondary RF chip for syncing an unlimited amount of TC-1 / PR devices from a range of 30ft.

Bright Backlit

The TC-SL1 features an adjustable backlight behind the whiteboard. Furthermore, the digital timecode display's brightness can be independently adjusted too.

Frame Accurate Timecode

Each TC-SL1 timecode slate features a TCXO with an accuracy of ±0.5ppm. And through firmware optimization, your footage will sync perfectly when you go to edit with less than 1 frame of drift in a 72-hour period.

Exceptional Customer Service

Had my slate for several months and it worked great, but it developed a battery contact issue. Deity replaced the unit in no time, no cost to me. Back to rocking it and very happy with it.

Great tool

My first digital slate. A massive upgrade for me. The Sidus app pairs it with the theos mics and TC boxes wonderfully. Great system, great Slate.

This slate is a must for music videography

I use this in conjunction with a wireless audio transmitter/receiver pair. I edit a stereo mix of my music track, with audio LTC on the left signal and the music on right signal, feeding it into the audio transmitter. On the audio receiver end, I plug the output into the TC-SL1, and boom, I have continuous live updates of the timecode as I scrub through the track.

One Slate to Rule Them All

If you want the industry standard slate, Deity has done it. From a screen in the back to custom text on the slate, the gold standard prior to this has not been able to catch up. I used to be a Denecke user but now I’ll be selling that to make this my daily driver!
