Product Description

The Deity Connect Timecode Kit is a single-channel digital wireless system that can double as dual audio recorders when the user needs an extra lavalier source. Equipped with an internal timecode clock, both units can be synced up in editing.

As a wireless microphone system, users will get around 12 hours of runtime. When used as dedicated audio recorders - more than 20 hours. The Deity Connect Timecode Kit is perfect for the videographer who may need a wireless system for a sit-down interview one day but dual recorders for live events like weddings the next.

Wireless Less than desired

While the build quality and number of functions of the BP-TRX are extremely good, the wireless function of these are less than desirable. With a BP-TRX setup as a transmitter and a receiver, with only a distance of 15 feet or less, I was getting several dropouts in audio. Granted, I was able to start/stop recording remotely no problem and record directly on the transmitter, being able to record on the transmitter side of things wasn’t really usable from the output. As a stand-alone recorder or timecode box, this is great, but definitely not a good wireless unit by far.

If you are getting range issues, reach out to use on social media or thru Support@DeityMic.com and I bet we can help you get more range with some setting adjustments or tips for mounting the transmitter pack.

Timecode is a game-changer

I got this kit for the internal recording, the solid wireless, and the quality lav mics... but the game changer for me has been timecode. I can't believe how much it's changed my workflow. With no extraneous devices, the whole "syncing in post" process that took up so much of my time before is now a matter of one click.
